There are several colleges in the state that offer medical assisting education. Be sure to visit more than one school and see which one meets your needs the best. Medical assisting programs that are not accredited means you may not be able to take critical certification or registration exams after graduation.

To be eligible for the clinical rotation, you must successfully complete the hour course, submit to a thorough background check and drug screening, and meet other requirements.

This hour course serves as the required lab 40 hours and clinical externship 50 hours part of the Clinical Medical Assistant Program. The program will train you to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical responsibilities of a medical office.
